WHY GROWHUB?

The target audience for this project is field sales employees for an HVAC manufacturer. Pre-Covid-19, we would hold large, multi-day training workshops to teach our training model to new employees. This is no longer practical, so I need to find a way to recreate that "workshop" experience in a way that uses the latest learning technologies.

 

The topic will be primarily focused on my employer's sales model and the platforms we use to help employees drive new business. But the delivery will consist of a blend of eLearning, Instructor-led classes via TEAMS or WebEx, online forums for collaborative learning, and gamification to drive participation.

To sustain the effort, I will work with our cross-functional team to develop content, and will hand the finished product off to my content developer and trainers to ensure it stays up to date. This project will be used as part of our ongoing store employee onboarding program, and will be a required part of their training.

For years, we have struggled to create a platform to share this training with employees that were onboarded before the sales model was created, and to deliver it in a timely manner to new hires entering the organization. Having this available online will be a tremendous benefit to the organization.

Videos, eLearning, Teams, Forums, and various graphics will be used to deliver the training.
